Hammer-head and hook-head screws, often also referred to as HALFEN screws, are ideal for fastening accessories or loads to mounting or anchor rails.
The toothed hammer-head screw type 41/22 is inserted into the profile rail and securely fastened with a 90-degree turn. The special toothing of the hammer head ensures a maximally stable and resilient connection, even when installed vertically. Before the screw is finally tightened, it can be flexibly positioned within the profile rail.
The type designation indicates which profiles the screw is suitable for and does not refer to the dimensions of the screw head. An overview of the suitable screw types for the respective profiles can be found in the downloads.
Advantages at a glance:
Quick installation: The toothed screw 41/22 can be inserted directly into the mounting rail at the desired position without having to be inserted from the side.
High load-bearing capacity: The special shape of the head creates a larger contact surface, which favours the absorption of higher loads. The continuous toothing allows use in complex applications that require multidimensional loads to be accommodated.
Flexibility: The screw can be moved within the profile rail, enabling precise alignment of the components.
Reusability: Hammerhead screws can be easily loosened and reused if required.
Functionality and application:
Hammer-head and hook-head screws can be placed in any position in the profile. A 90 degree turn locks the head in the profile and ensures that it fits snugly against the rail lip. Even if the screw head is not accessible, a nut can be used to tighten the screw. The screws can be loosened, precisely aligned and refastened or removed at any time without the need for special tools. A slot on the underside of the thread indicates the correct alignment of the screw head in the mounting rail. The large contact surface of the screw head in the profile ensures high stability and load-bearing capacity. The serration allows loads to be securely attached even when installed vertically.
The hammer-head screw type 41/22 is an efficient fastening solution that saves time, offers flexible application options and is suitable for a wide range of applications.
